SAP R2R Functional Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
One of Kforce's Fortune 500 client's is seeking a seasoned SAP R2R Functional Consultant to support and optimize finance-related processes within the SAP landscape. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting by bridging business finance needs with SAP system capabilities. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in core finance processes, SAP FI/CO configuration, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Serve as the SME for the Record-to-Report process, including General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Accounts Closing, and Financial Reporting
* Partner with finance and controlling teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement SAP functionality that supports business goals
* Configure and maintain SAP FI/CO modules, including GL, AP/AR (as relevant), Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting
* Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, allocations, and reporting tools
* Work closely with technical teams on enhancements, custom reports, interfaces, and data migration
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements through appropriate configuration and documentation

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO with a focus on R2R processes
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, period-end closing activities, and financial statements
* Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
* Familiarity with financial reporting tools such as SAP BPC, Group Reporting, or SAC is a plus
* Integration knowledge with MM, SD, and P2P processes
* Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate with both business and IT stakeholders

Nice to Have:
* CPA or background in accounting/finance is a strong plus
* SAP Certification in FI or S/4HANA for Finance
* Experience working in global template environments or multi-country deployments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
