REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker: In office position with work from home allowed, i.e. flex or hybrid worker
JOB LOCATION: 3033 Chain Bridge Rd. Oakton, VA 22124
DUTIES: Responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.g., troubleshooting) and maintenance with a focus on automation. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions. Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate with engineers/architects, clients, etc. to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting. In addition to Unit Test, responsibilities may include dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and/or user acceptance testing. Supports applications and solves configuration and environment issues. Supports the software deployment process. Apply Agile Methodology. Use open-source framework (PrimeFaces). Use Java-based web applications (JSF and JSP). Utilize programming languages (CSS, HTML, Javascript, JAVA, SQL, PL/SQL). Use JDBC, Spring Boot, Spring, Spring MVC, Git, Code Cloud, Maven, Jboss Wildfly, Shell Scripting, AWS S3, Node.Js, AJAX, REST API, MicroServices, Cloud watch, Spring Security, Log4j, Postman, Eclipse, JSON. Use operating systems (Linux).
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor of Science degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronic Engineering and 3 Years of experience in the job offered or 3 Years of experience in a related occupation applying Agile Methodology; using open-source framework (PrimeFaces); using Java-based web applications (JSF and JSP); utilizing programming languages (CSS, HTML, Javascript, JAVA, SQL, PL/SQL); using JDBC, Spring Boot, Spring, Spring MVC, Git, Code Cloud, Maven, Jboss Wildfly, Shell Scripting, AWS S3, Node.Js, AJAX, REST API, MicroServices, Cloud watch, Spring Security, Log4j, Postman, Eclipse, JSON; and using op-erating systems (Linux).
