About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate with integration, test, and design engineers in a fast-paced environment to bring advanced technologies to life. You will lead design analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, design, and testing of complex electrical systems based on defined objectives.
- Review internal, external, industry, and customer requirements to support system and subsystem designs.
- Conduct detailed analyses to verify designs and present findings to stakeholders.
- Lead development, coordination, and execution of test programs for design evaluation.
- Drive troubleshooting efforts and lead failure investigations.
- Mentor engineers and provide senior-level peer reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and manufacturing.
- Prepare and present engineering materials for requirements and design reviews.
- Perform qualification and acceptance testing, data analysis, and characterization testing.
- Identify trends in test data and evaluate component performance.
- Participate in trade studies and risk assessments for internal projects and procured equipment.
- Ensure safety compliance in all aspects of work.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with missile systems and related standards.
- Hands-on experience in design, testing, integration, and deployment of electrical components or subsystems.
- Proficiency in releasing engineering documentation (drawings, specifications, test procedures).
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for electronic systems.
- Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, electronic loads).
- Experience with analytical tools such as MATLAB or Python for data analysis.
- Ability to mentor and cross-train team members across diverse technologies.
