Manufacturing & Tooling Engineer
Join a dynamic, forward-thinking team shaping the future of aerospace and high-precision manufacturing. In this role, you'll lead the development and execution of advanced production and tooling methodologies-solving complex challenges with high impact on performance, cost, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production and tooling strategies to optimize manufacturing processes
- Actively participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to drive cross-functional technical integration
- Conceptualize and maintain build architecture and design solutions throughout the product lifecycle
- Lead manufacturing planning, conduct producibility and variation analyses, and ensure compliance with process capability standards
- Provide technical input to project planning documents and contribute to a library of producibility best practices
- Evaluate design/build concepts for manufacturability and continuous improvement
- Resolve critical technical challenges impacting program delivery
- Apply and promote lean manufacturing principles and cutting-edge engineering concepts to enhance production readiness
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, with 5+ years of experience
- Deep expertise in producibility analysis-this is essential and non-negotiable
- Proven background conducting layout and 2D drawing reviews
- Proficiency in CATIA/ENOVIA and familiarity with industry specs and standards
- Experience working on development programs and Integrated Validation & Test (IVT) environments
- Mechanical Engineering education, with an expectation of immediate hands-on contribution
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Aerospace Defense Systems and/or B-52 platforms
- Experience with tooling, supply chain integration, and program start-up
- Exposure to full product development cycles with a focus on longevity and scalability
