We are seeking a skilled and motivated Google Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure and automation team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable DevOps solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline CI/CD processes, optimize infrastructure performance, and ensure high availability and security of cloud-native applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, VPC, Cloud Storage, etc.)

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana

Ensure secure configuration of cloud resources using IAM, service accounts, and encryption standards

Collaborate with developers to support microservices, containerization, and Kubernetes (GKE)

Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of cloud deployments

Conduct regular disaster recovery and security audits
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with at least 1+ year hands-on in Google Cloud Platform

Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and architecture best practices

Experience with Terraform, Helm, or similar IaC tools

Proficiency in CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (especially GKE)

Good understanding of Linux system administration and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)

Knowledge of security, compliance, and DevSecOps best practices
-
Google Cloud Platform certification (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional DevOps Engineer) is a plus
