Job Title : Guidewire Business Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Guidewire Business Analyst with a strong background in Guidewire Policy Center and Commercial Lines insurance products. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and product managers, to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure successful implementation of Guidewire solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Guidewire PolicyCenter and Commercial Lines functionality.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for Guidewire PolicyCenter configurations and integrations.
Facilitate requirements workshops, JAD sessions, and sprint planning meetings with business and IT teams.
Create and maintain documentation such as BRDs, FSDs, user stories, use cases, and process diagrams.
Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented.
Participate in UAT planning and execution, including test case design, test data preparation, and defect triage.
Contribute to system configuration, rule definitions, and validations in Guidewire PolicyCenter as needed.
Support production releases and provide post-implementation support to users.
Ensure compliance with project delivery timelines and enterprise standards.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C insurance domain.
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter (version 9.x or higher preferred).
Strong experience in Commercial Lines insurance (e.g., General Liability, Workers Compensation, Property, Commercial Auto, etc.).
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Rally.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and bridge the gap between business and technical stakeholders.
Strong documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Understanding of XML, SQL, and data mapping preferred.
