Skillset / Experience:
INSPYR Solutions seeks a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer for one of its power generation clients in Houston. This role will be responsible for leading the onboarding and configuration of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Lead deployment and onboarding of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform across the organization
- Lead the deployment of CrowdStrike Falcon across enterprise endpoints, including agent installation and configuration.
- Execute and manage CrowdStrike Falcon proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives and drive them to production readiness.
- Integrate Falcon with existing SIEM/SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) for extended threat visibility and automation.
- Customize Falcon policy settings for prevention, detection, and response based on organizational risk posture.
- Provide training to internal teams on Falcon usage, incident response procedures, and threat awareness.
- Document Falcon deployment architecture, use cases, response playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint configurations and policies
Skills/ Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or an endpoint security role
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing the CrowdStrike Falcon platform
- Strong experience with Splunk (searches, dashboards, alerting)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and related Microsoft security tools
- Solid understanding of endpoint threat detection, EDR/XDR, and response processes
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and security best practices
- Experience with enterprise rollout of EDR platforms
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python)
- Exposure to cloud security environments (Azure)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator, Splunk Core Certified, Microsoft SC-200
