Job Details

One of the largest entertainment and media corporations in the world is looking to hire a Procurement Contracts Administrator / Analyst for their Atlanta, GA offices.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project Administrators perform tasks necessary to keep a project running smoothly, such as records keeping, resource coordination, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with government and safety regulations.
  • In a project that requires subcontractors they may assess vendors and handle contract negotiation.
  • Participates in budget administration, providing analysis, keeping records, and forecasting financial performance.
  • May be responsible for all operations or only a portion, reporting to a project manager
  • Hardware and Software Maintenance Contract Renewal (70%)
    • Manage the inventory of all active SW and HW Maintenance renewals ("renewals") to ensure timely completion of renewals
    • Ensure consistency and completeness of renewals for all new purchase orders
    • Analyze renewals with technical, business and management contacts to ensure necessity and level of renewal
    • Negotiate with suppliers for competitive quotes and pricing
    • Source alternate suppliers and competitive pricing when advantageous
    • Identify opportunities for lower cost alternatives
    • Lead all renewal activities required for timely issue of purchase orders
    • Engage with supplier management for contract review requirements
  • 3rd Party Contract Management (20%)
    • Maintain listing of 3rd Party Contracts and Expiration dates
    • Work with Business Unit (BU) managers to confirm whether renewals are required
    • Challenge BU managers to reduce support levels on equipment where possible
    • Initiate extension paperwork with sourcing group
  • Data Analysis (10%)
    • Analyze options for reducing cost
    • Analyze support usage and levels and present results to technical and business owners
