Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Platform Administrator / ML Engineer with deep expertise in advanced analytics infrastructure and enterprise-scale ML platforms. This hybrid role based in Chicago involves the design, administration, and optimization of machine learning platforms, with a focus on Azure ML, DevOps, and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain ML infrastructure: Azure ML, Managed Kubernetes, Databricks, Storage, Key Vault

  • Manage and monitor AI & ML platform services including KHAI APIs, OpenAI Document Intelligence, etc.

  • Oversee platform compliance, security, IAM, and RBAC policies

  • Build and manage workflows in Azure DevOps

  • Monitor ML platform usage, performance, and reliability

  • Drive cost optimization, automations, upgrades, and patching strategies

  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and data security across MLOps pipelines

  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Developers to optimize end-to-end ML workflows

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in ML Engineering, Platform Administration, or DevOps for ML

  • Deep hands-on expertise in Azure ML, Kubernetes, Key Vault, and Databricks

  • Experience working with AI & ML platform services (KHAI API, OpenAI integrations, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, compliance, and enterprise security standards

  • Proficient in Azure DevOps, pipeline automation, and infrastructure monitoring

  • Demonstrated experience with cost management, resource provisioning, and environment optimization

  • Strong documentation and collaboration skills, especially in Agile/DevOps environments
