Job Details

We are looking for deep, hands-on expertise in Terraform on EKS, AWS networking, CI/CD automation, and GitLab. This is a highly technical, architect-level role requiring someone who is self-directed, comfortable writing production-grade infrastructure as code, and experienced in building and maintaining scalable, secure environments.

The ideal candidate can work independently, drive solutions from concept to implementation, and interface confidently with application teams. This is not a junior or entry-level engineering position we already have that expertise in place. We're seeking someone with advanced technical skill, mature judgment, and the ability to deliver high-impact results from day one.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Must have SECRET clearance (or DHS full clearance)
  • At least 8 years or more experience in the field in the related industry.
  • Advance knowledge and hands-on experience in architecting, implementing, and operationalizing multi-tier production stacks in AWS.
  • Experience with deploying, testing, and managing enterprise applications in the cloud environments including production.
  • Passionately practices Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar.
  • Lives and breathes automation pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, GitLab, or similar.
  • Strong system administration experience in Linux with fluency in Bash.
  • Strong understanding of AWS networking services, including VPC, route tables, VPC flow logs, VPC peering, ALB/NLB.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Kubernetes (EKS), Cluster Management, Docker/Containers and how to troubleshoot Kubernetes deployments is required.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with programming and infrastructure automation is highly desirable.
  • Experience securing cloud environments is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in at least one major programming language such as TypeScript, Java, Python similar is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with different auditing mechanisms/tools within AWS environment and integration with Splunk is preferred.
  • Possess a minimum of three years of experience designing and implementing security countermeasures to maintain system compliance with DISA STIGs or similar U.S. Government security compliance regime.

Education:

Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field
