Role Overview
We are seeking a technically strong and proactive Application Integration Engineer with a deep understanding of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining API-based integrations across various enterprise systems especially involving ServiceNow, Zluri, and other SaaS applications to automate onboarding, offboarding, and access lifecycle workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable integrations between ServiceNow, Zluri, and third-party applications (e.g., Google Workspace, Okta, Salesforce).
- Develop and manage REST/SOAP API integrations, using Spokes, Connectors, and IntegrationHub within ServiceNow and Zluri.
- Create and maintain automation scripts using JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell to support user lifecycle automation.
- Collaborate with IAM, HRIS, IT, and InfoSec teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with IGA best practices, data security standards, and audit-readiness.
- Monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures, and implement proactive measures to enhance reliability.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, mapping data flows and integration logic.
- Support Identity Governance processes such as access certification, entitlement reviews, and provisioning policies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4 6 years of hands-on experience in application/system integration using APIs and scripting.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow IntegrationHub, Zluri integration frameworks, and custom connector development.
- Strong working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, and common auth protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT).
- Experience with JavaScript (mandatory); Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting (preferred).
- Familiarity with IGA concepts: provisioning, deprovisioning, entitlement management, JML (Joiner-Mover-Leaver).
- Experience with IAM tools (Okta, Azure AD, Ping, SailPoint, or Saviynt) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications / Training
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer
- Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) or equivalent
- Okta Certified Professional or Microsoft SC-300
- ITIL v4 Foundation (preferred for process alignment)
