Description: Our client is currently seeking a OSP Engineer - II
Role: OSP Engineer
Location: Brooklyn, NY
2 days in the office per week. However, field visits and/or surveys should be covered based on work load.
Candidates may need to be in the field more than twice a week
Note: The candidate will use their own car for their field surveys as they cannot use client's cars and the coverage for that use is included in the hourly rate. No separate or additional payment for that usage.

Responsibilities:
- Fiber plant design, and general construction knowledge.
- Experience in telecommunications / data networking or wireless industry.
- Strong Computer Skills (Databases, Processes, and Administrative) - Comprehensive knowledge and skill for more complex applications to include Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, Google Earth, etc.
- Knowledge of the network plant and local practices.
- Experience with working application of engineering systems and databases.
- Working knowledge of right-of-way, property rights, and permit acquisition.
- Attend Condo and/or Co-Op Board meetings also work with Greenfield developers .
- Address and respond to phone inquiries and e-mail communications related to Property surveys and securement.
- Worked in New York City or similar environment preferable to be familiar with Brooklyn or Queens Boroughs.
