Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Responsibilities
A week in the life of a Network and Computer Systems Administrator:
- Install, configure, and maintain an organization's LAN, WAN, data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
- Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
- Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
- Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
- Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- BS/BA degree
- 8 years of network and computer system administrator experience
- 4 years of the experience with distance learning and knowledge management related technologies
