Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

A week in the life of a Network and Computer Systems Administrator:
  • Install, configure, and maintain an organization's LAN, WAN, data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
  • Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
  • Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
  • Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
  • Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
  • BS/BA degree
  • 8 years of network and computer system administrator experience
  • 4 years of the experience with distance learning and knowledge management related technologies

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $108,100.00/Yr. - USD $180,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
