Job Details

Location & Work Arrangement

  • City, State: Concord, New Hampshire (Telework)
  • Work Arrangement: Remote (Must be located within the contingent U.S. and adhere to EST business hours).
  • Contract: This is a project-specific Contract position.
  • Work Week: 37.5 hours per week (NOT 40 hours).
  • Mode of Interview: Either Phone or In-Person.

Key Project Focus and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the application migration, ensuring the project meets all DevOps standards and best practices.

DevOps Migration & CI/CD

  • Migration Execution: Migrate application source code from the legacy Harvest environment to Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Pipeline Creation: Collaborate with the DevOps team on the creation of new pipelines and processes for the NHID applications.
  • Build Control: Run current legacy builds to serve as a migration control baseline.
  • Standards: Work as directed by DoIT management to meet DevOps and documentation standards.

Development and Quality Assurance

  • Full Lifecycle: Perform necessary analysis, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation.
  • Testing Facilitation: Facilitate application tests with the IT Lead and the business unit.
  • Estimation: Produce estimates of time and resources required to perform various tasks.
  • Data Protection: Must be comfortable taking appropriate steps to protect any regulated data.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

  • Technical Diagrams: A key responsibility is to create application and data diagrams for the migrated applications.
  • Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for applications to enable future support and enhancements.

Required Technical Skills (5 Years Minimum Each)

The candidate must demonstrate 5 years of proven experience in the following specific technologies:

Technology Area

Required Expertise

Development Language

C# (Including experience working with legacy code).

Version Control

GitHub (Specifically integration with Azure DevOps).

DevOps Platform

Azure DevOps (Including pipeline creation, testing, etc.).

Development Tools

MS Visual Studio.

Database

SQL Server (2016 through current), including experience developing on the backend and with Stored Procedures (used in financial applications).

Reporting

Crystal Reports (Creating, maintaining, and modifying reports).

Documentation

Experience creating detailed technical documentation for applications.
