Description (Travel Printer Support)
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. Strong organization skills.
2. Ability to work under general supervision.
3. Ability to work accurately in high-pressure situations.
4. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with users of varying levels of education and experience.
5. Must stay current with advances in computing technology.
6. Manual dexterity to use computer keyboards.
7. Must have reliable transportation
8. Ability to travel between campus buildings and to remote facilities as needed
9. Ability to handle on-call responsibilities as directed
10. An affinity for providing exceptional customer service and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Install, configure, and support end-user devices, peripherals, and software.
2. Respond to and resolve service requests and incidents.
3. Support hardware refresh and facility technology deployment projects.
4. Collaborate with Analyst II and Supervisor for escalations and complex issues.
5. Performs root cause analysis and provides technical documentation when appropriate.
6. Provide basic technical training to end users.
7. Maintain accurate asset tracking and documentation.
8. Participate in proactive support activities such as rounding in clinical and business spaces.
9. Makes hardware acquisition recommendations including helping users assess needs and providing any necessary quotes and purchasing guidance.
10. Assists with the planning and acquisition of new and existing facilities concerning computing devices, monitors, and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware.
11. Maintains current knowledge of hardware, software and network technology and recommends modifications as necessary; and performs other duties of a similar nature as required.
12. Responsible for maintaining standard production levels
13. Assist in process and procedure enhancement and development.
14. Maintains and demonstrates professional competency according to departmental policies and procedures.
15. Complies with organization and department policies and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma REQUIRED. Bachelor's degree and CompTIA A+ is PREFERRED.

1. Mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
2. Stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions
3. Strength to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
