Role Overview
The Salesforce Solution Architect with Health Cloud specialization is responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade healthcare solutions using Salesforce Health Cloud. This role ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, integrates with EHR/EMR systems, and delivers secure, scalable architectures that improve patient engagement and provider collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
Architect Salesforce Health Cloud solutions for patient care, provider management, and population health.
Define system architecture, data models, and integration patterns.
Integration & Compliance
Integrate Salesforce with EHR/EMR systems, ERP platforms, and third-party healthcare applications.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7).
Technical Leadership
Lead solution workshops and technical discussions with cross-functional teams.
Mentor developers and enforce architectural best practices.
Innovation
Evaluate emerging technologies like GenAI, predictive analytics, and telehealth integrations.
Governance
Establish CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DevOps processes.
Promote platform governance, coding standards, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
8 10+ years in solution architecture, with 5+ years in Salesforce Health Cloud or healthcare SaaS.
Certifications:
Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or Health Cloud Consultant.
Technical Skills:
Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), MuleSoft, Informatica, REST/SOAP APIs.
Knowledge of healthcare standards (FHIR, HL7).
Soft Skills:
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of AI/ML and predictive analytics in healthcare.
