Job Details
GENERAL DESCRIPTIResponsibilities:
1. Provide input for work instructions and procedures for electronics soldering, assembly and testing..
2. Review and interpret complex technical schematics, ensuring accuracy during the build, assembly and testing phases.
3. Perform complex soldering and rework
4. Familiarity with reading electrical and RF schematics.
5. Perform integration of electronic components in support of rapid prototyping requirements
Qualifications:
1. Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician
2. J-STD soldering certification is required
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematic drawings
4. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plusON
Responsible for assisting and generating technical, manufacturing and assembly drawings, as well as
digital models, based on initial drawings, 3D models and or marked up documentation from the
Engineering group. Provide documentation support to the Engineering group, as needed, to meet
deadlines. Has hands-on experience using Solidworks for implementing formal design documentation of
mechanical designs.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience in generating BOM's based from 3D assemblies.
- Drafting experience with 3D development software (Solidworks).
- Strong understanding and knowledge of GD&T.
- Strong understanding of how to produce customer and manufacturing level drawings.
- Ability to follow and adhere to standardized methods utilized by IDT.
- Familiarity with Engineering Change Order process.
- Multitasking skills to manage multiple requests and various project activities.
- Good presentation and communication skills to interact with multiple departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED
- Generate Product documentation as listed above and as required.
- Make changes to existing drawings and BOMs in response to approved ECR/ECO's.
- Work with Engineering and Document control to close ECOs
- Document and organize legacy products to bring documentation current.
- Respond to customer / vendor inquiries for product details that are not part of current
documentation.
- Assist Marketing with models for content on website, catalogs, etc.
