  • Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Business Analyst 3 to join our team.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the following areas:
      • Judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
      • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
      • Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
      • Business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following areas:
      • Serving as a liaison between the Business community and Customer IT Teams (i.e., Architecture, Project Delivery, Application Sustain, etc.).
      • Analyzing raw data as a Data Analyst, and as a Business Analyst in requirements gathering, understanding technology, and any project management experience.
    • PMP is a huge plus.


    PREFERRED

    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with: o Working in an Agile environment (preferably SAFe) o Texas HHSC processes as well as Texas Medicaid and CHIP systems.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
    • Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
    • Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective.
    • Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering.
    • Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc.
    • Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
    • Working in a SAFe environment on a major system modernization project and ongoing enhancement efforts for existing Medicaid applications.
    • Be a part of the team responsible for providing project and product oversight of the Medicaid IT-Contracted Systems efforts, integrated projects, and support of dependent efforts.
    • Support and provide oversight of documentation and delivery of application enhancements as part of the Medicaid IT-Contracted systems applications team.
    • Assist as an IT stakeholder for various IT application enhancement initiatives with multiple Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) vendors.
    • Help in creating and maintaining processes and project documentation.
