CLM Analyst - Contract Lifecycle Management

Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary administrator and power user of the CLM platform (e.g., [mention specific CLM platforms if applicable, e.g., DocuSign CLM, Icertis, SAP Ariba, Conga, SirionLabs]).
  • Configure and maintain contract templates, workflows, user permissions, and reporting dashboards within the CLM system.
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on CLM system usage, best practices, and new functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with IT or vendor support for resolution.
  • Assist in the creation, review, and routing of various contract types (e.g., sales agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, service agreements, SOWs).
  • Ensure contracts adhere to company policies, legal guidelines, and business requirements.
  • Track contract statuses, key dates (e.g., expiry, renewal), and obligations.
  • Facilitate contract approvals and e-signature processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and metadata within the CLM system.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate CLM processes for greater efficiency and compliance.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of CLM policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in testing and deployment of new CLM system features or upgrades.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the overall contract management framework.
  • Generate reports and dashboards from the CLM system to provide insights into contract performance, risk, and compliance.
  • Analyze contract data to support business decisions and identify trends.
  • Assist in data migration and cleansing efforts related to CLM initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with legal, sales, procurement, finance, and other internal departments to ensure seamless contract workflows.
  • Act as a point of contact for contract-related inquiries and provide guidance to business users.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2-8 years of experience in a contract administration, legal operations, procurement, or similar role.
  • Proven experience working with a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system is essential. [Specify preferred CLM platforms if applicable].
  • Familiarity with various contract types and legal terminology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
