Job Title: Plant Manager
Location: New Castle, PA (Onsite)
Plant Manager role and must come from liquid filling, canning, aseptic packaging or something extreme close must have the concept filling into a can or bottle or cpg container filling (shampoo, food, etc NOT chemicals)
This is a replacement role I placed somewhere there that was a terrible fit he came from big companies and struggled with turnarounds and was overwhelmed.
MUST BE A TURNAROUND PERSON!
PE owned and needed someone who will oversee the entire operation themselves this could lead to equity in the company or future growth or both
Small plant and would prefer a Plant Manager but would consider an operations Manager from a larger company and this could be a step forward in their career. Not looking to hire someone where this is a step back
This person must know that this facility is small but problematic the previous who ran the operation had zero leadership skills and did not pay vendors, and did not treat the employees well
The operation is not air conditioned or heated so its SUPER hot in the summer and fine in the winter
Compensation & Potential Growth:
Salary Range: $170K (that is the absolute top end and would only do that for the perfect person)
Bonus: bonus based on EBITA
Long Term payout: possible stock in organization so when they sell they make a ton of money
Future Path: Opportunity to grow into Director of Operations or President assuming they sell as planned in the next 5-7 years. Right now they have 1 production line and run 1 shift and they want to grow that to multiple shifts with multiple lines, but first they need to solve problems

Direct Reports:
o Packaging Supervisor
o Process Supervisor
o Maintenance Manager
o Quality Supervisor
o 25 hourly (non-union) employees
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education: Bachelor s degree required; Engineering strongly preferred
Experience:
o True plant manager or operations leader from a mid to large manufacturing environment
o Shelf-stable food, beverage, canning, or aseptic processing experience
Skills:
o Mechanical aptitude and operational savvy
o Excellent communicator and problem solver
o Strong leadership with an entrepreneurial mindset
o Comfortable wearing multiple hats from recruiting to production floor support
o MUST BE A TURNAROUND MANAGER
o MUST HAVE VERY STRONG LEADERSHIP SKILLS train, teach, develop and operationally change how people are thinking there. Must be a change agent
o Someone with lean concepts is preferred
o They need to know that this facility is majorly screwed up and has been poorly run for about 5 years so this not a cake walk
o Prefer someone from a smaller company and has bigger company experience, someone that is used to no processes and knows how to make changes

o Scrappy, resourceful, and ready to roll up their sleeves
o Thrives in a startup-like environment with limited structure
o Capable of building systems from the ground up
o Someone who can build a team
o Someone who can assist with overseeing new equipment and overseeing the capital projects for future expansions and lines
