Architect Telecom Billing (ATC) | Contract-to-Hire
Location: US-Based (Jersey City, NJ preferred). East Coast Remote acceptable.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Telecom Billing Architect (ATC) to drive pricing, billing, and fee management transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for a senior consultant with deep expertise in telecom billing platforms especially Telecom / Mobile sector and the ability to translate business objectives into scalable, future-ready billing architectures.

The Architect will work closely with product, technology, finance, and operations teams to modernize billing ecosystems, optimize pricing strategies, and enable next-generation monetization models.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Pricing Architecture

  • Lead the architecture and solution design for complex telecom billing transformations.

  • Leverage expertise in billing solutions such as Encompass, Advanced Convergent Platform (ACP), or Singleview to support pricing and billing modernization.

  • Design and implement scalable billing frameworks that support subscription, usage-based, tiered, and hybrid pricing models.

Consulting & Delivery Leadership

  • Partner with stakeholders to assess current-state billing processes and define future-state architectures.

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, pricing rules, mapping documents, and solution workflows.

  • Drive Agile delivery practices, backlog development, sprint planning, and sprint review cycles.

Pricing Strategy & Revenue Optimization

  • Develop and refine pricing models covering relationship pricing, discounting frameworks, fee optimization, and revenue recognition strategies.

  • Provide expertise in dynamic pricing techniques and monetization trends within telecom and digital services.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead client-facing workshops, product demos, and solution walkthroughs.

  • Author high-quality proposals, solution blueprints, RFP responses, and executive-level documentation.

  • Collaborate effectively with finance, operations, engineering, and product teams to ensure alignment and delivery success.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of consulting experience in pricing, billing, and fee transformation programs.

  • 5+ years of hands-on telecom industry experience.

  • Strong knowledge of telecom billing platforms ideally CSG Encompass, CSG Advanced Convergent Platform (ACP), CSG Singleview, or similar.

  • Deep expertise in billing models, pricing strategy, discounting, fee optimization, and revenue frameworks.

  • Proven experience designing and delivering scalable billing architectures.

  • Strong documentation, communication, and client presentation skills.

  • Experience leading RFP responses, technical proposals, and client demos.
