Job Description:

The Network Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) is a key personnel role responsible for overseeing the acquisition, installation, maintenance, and usage of the company's local area network. The Network Senior SME will play a critical role in ensuring network performance and security, managing network software, and developing and maintaining telecommunications systems in support of the global DoDIN-A mission.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of specialized navigational elements, web parts, and workflows for automated data collection processes, such as the Cyber Tasking Order Plan of Action and Milestone creation, submission, return, and approval processes.
  • Ensure automated processes are functional 98% of the time, using Government-approved and provided development tools.
  • Maintain all links for various sites, pages, and workflows in accordance with NETCOM G-3, G-5, ECED SPO design, security, best business practices, and the NETCOM Branding Guide.
  • Develop, update, and maintain APO automated processes and provide documentation outlining the development process within 15 business days after creation or updates.
  • Collaborate with internal and external mission partners to facilitate cyber situational awareness and information sharing.
  • Establish and implement network policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring their conformance with information systems and company objectives.
  • Train users on network operation and conduct industry engagement in line with the 'Contact With Industry Standard Operating Procedures'.


Required Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance with T5 investigation.
  • BS in a technical field and at least 12 years of program management experience, with a minimum of 10 years as an SME in the industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Army IT operational and technical requirements.
  • Experience with Tenable Nessus products (ACAS), virtualization system administration, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience developing automated test cases and maintaining a dashboard depicting test progress and results.


Preferred Competencies:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist, or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate.
  • P alo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer ( PCNSE )
  • F-5 Certification
  • IAT Level II Baseline Certification.
  • Experience with the specific requirements outlined in the ADCNOMS PWS, including but not limited to AESS, AGM, PPS Management, ACAS, CBII, CAC/PKI, and other systems.


Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Office environment with a low noise level.
  • Day shift schedule with potential for evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.


Specialized Staffing and Training Requirements:
  • Meet the professional requirements for senior-level personnel as defined in the PWS.
  • Hold specialized staffing certifications relevant to the role and the mission of ADCNOMS.


Administrative Requirements:
  • Adhere to transition periods, phase-in/out procedures, and contractor key personnel management as outlined in the PWS.
  • Comply with all security, protection, antiterrorism, and safety measures as required.
