Role: Azure DevSecOps Engineer
Locations: Cincinnati, OH (Fully Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 5 Days every week. Local or candidates from Nearby states only.
Job Description:
- Infrastructure as Code Design, build, and maintain scalable Azure environments with Terraform (modules, workspaces, CI/CD pipelines).
- Container Platforms Operate and optimize AKS and upstream Kubernetes clusters, leveraging Rancher for multicluster governance.
- Configuration & Orchestration Automate OS and application provisioning with Ansible; build idempotent playbooks and roles.
- CI/CD & Release Enhance our Gitbased pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable deployments and rollbacks across environments.
- Observability & Reliability Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting; drive SREstyle incident response and postmortems.
- Security & Compliance Embed best practices (secret management, RBAC, policyascode) into every layer of the stack.
- Collaboration Partner with developers to containerize applications, advise on cloudnative patterns, and promote DevOps culture.
What you bring?
- Proven production experience with Terraform, Azure services, Kubernetes/AKS, and Rancher.
- Strong Ansible skills for configuration management and automation.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, or Go preferred).
- Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab Actions or similar CI systems.
- A mindset of continuous improvement, automationfirst, and shared ownership.
