Job Details

Job title: Data Engineer (Informatica Powercentre)
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Client: State Of Texas

JD:
12+ years experience developing ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica Power Center or IICS.
10+ years experience acquiring and integrating data from multiple sources (Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, PDF) for Tableau or similar visualization tools.
8+ years experience designing and developing complex SQL scripts in Oracle and/or Snowflake.
8+ years analytical and problem-solving experience as a system analyst for data analytics, data warehousing, or performance management systems.
8+ years experience with technical writing, system documentation, and diagramming tools (Visio, Erwin, etc.).
8+ years experience planning and delivering software platforms across organizational units.
Proven ability to write clean, testable, and efficient code following best development practices.

Preferred Qualifications
6+ years strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and switch tasks effectively.
4+ years experience working within agile sprint teams.
Experience working with healthcare data and applying security principles (PII/PHI compliance).
Experience with performance metrics visualization, BI tools, or modern analytics platforms.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
Prior experience with HHSC or other HHS agencies.
Experience with Python scripting.
Experience using JIRA for project/task management.
Experience with REST/SOAP Web Services.
Experience with Java, JavaScript, or C#.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
Experience with Mulesoft.
