Responsibilities
  • The Agile Business Analyst knows that business analysis occurs throughout the project with an initial high-level picture of the overall scope, followed by more detail on specific features when they are delivered vs. performing all analysis work to develop detailed requirements at the beginning of the project.
  • They understand the sufficient amount of business analysis necessary to understand the problem and the aspect of the solution currently being delivered while still keeping the project moving forward.
  • Collaborates with other team members to determine how much analysis is needed at the beginning of the project to establish the big picture, and during each iteration in order to establish a shared understanding without creating an extensive requirements inventory.
  • Collaborates with other team members to decide what is needed to best deliver the solution.
  • Grooms the backlog
  • Analyzes the business domain
  • Generates examples
  • Transfer knowledge
  • Determines how much documentation is needed.
  • Hold the team accountable for all the work necessary to go from a story/requirement to a running, tested feature that could be delivered to production.
  • Coaches other team members on analysis techniques and the appropriate stakeholders to contact, understanding that allowing multiple team members to perform analysis prevents handoffs that occur in phased base approaches, and prevents the BA from becoming a bottleneck to overall team progress.
Basic Qualifications
  • Knowledge of JIRA
  • Familiar with ITIL best practices for service design.
  • Minimum 6 years relevant experience.
  • Lead contact for the Business Requirements phase of multiple Projects.
  • Ability to actively participate in all phases of multiple Projects.
  • Ability to lead in the delivery and coordination of all project documentation and define processes and procedures as they relate to the overall project objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to properly write test scripts
  • Background in timeshare/tourism
Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
