Position Summary The Manufacturing OT/IT Manager will play a strategic leadership role in the development, integration, and support of Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) systems across our manufacturing facilities. This role is critical in ensuring system interoperability, regulatory compliance (GMP, FDA), and the implementation of advanced technologies that improve operational eiciency and product traceability in a highly regulated baby food production environment. You will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT teams to deploy cutting-edge solutions, maintain high system availability, and ensure data integrity and security across all manufacturing platforms, following ISA-95 best practices for system architecture and integration. Key Responsibilities Support the OT/IT strategy and lead execution of key initiatives, including system implementations, technology upgrades, infrastructure migrations, and digital transformation projects aligned with business goals. Deploy and optimize Industry 4.0 and IoT technologies to improve operational performance, traceability, and data-driven decision-making across the plant network. Oversee the integration, implementation, and maintenance of core OT/IT manufacturing systems including MES, SCADA, PLCs, historians, and ERP platforms with structured interoperability aligned to ISA-95 standards for clear system roles, data flow, and operational eiciency. Ensure all OT/IT systems and practices comply with GMP, FDA, and other relevant food safety regulations, supporting the stringent quality and safety standards. Maintain and enhance ERP integration with manufacturing systems to streamline production planning, inventory management, and supply chain visibility. Manage and support third-party applications and tools that are critical to manufacturing performance, ensuring consistent uptime and support across platforms. Implement robust OT cybersecurity protocols, including network segmentation, role-based access, and threat detection, to safeguard operational technology infrastructure. Ensure alignment with cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST, in collaboration with corporate IT security teams. Collaborate with Quality, Compliance, and Regulatory Aairs teams to maintain validated systems, ensure data integrity, and support audit readiness across manufacturing systems. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT, to identify and deliver digital solutions that improve eiciency and compliance. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation within the manufacturing organization. Manage vendor relationships with automation providers, system integrators, and technology partners to ensure service excellence, system reliability, and costeectiveness. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. 10+ years of experience in OT/IT roles within the food manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry, including GMP-regulated environments. Proven experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA platforms, PLCs, and ERP integration. Strong understanding of food safety compliance requirements, including GMP, FDA. Hands-on knowledge of industrial automation, IoT, and data infrastructure within a manufacturing setting. Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience managing cross-functional projects and working with third-party vendors.
