Position: Senior Developer ? Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Supply Chain)
A growing technology-driven organization is seeking a Senior Developer to support the development, customization, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Supply Chain. Position Summary:
As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enhancements to the D365 Finance and Supply Chain platform. Working closely with analysts, business partners, and technical teams, you?ll turn complex requirements into efficient, well-documented technical solutions. This role requires a strong command of X++, T-SQL, and related Microsoft technologies, along with the flexibility to work on multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and clarify technical requirements.
Design, develop, test, and implement customizations and integrations for Microsoft D365 using X++, T-SQL, SSRS, and Visual Studio.
Improve and maintain the development lifecycle and coding standards.
Manage Azure DevOps workflows and support D365 application upgrades.
Document development activities and technical designs clearly and thoroughly.
Provide root cause analysis and resolve application and performance issues.
Stay current with evolving D365 technologies and promote the use of new tools and frameworks.
Assist in system administration, version control, and deployment of D365 environments.
Contribute to project planning through effort estimation and progress updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 6 years in software development or application support roles.
4+ years of experience working with X++ in Microsoft D365 (Finance & Supply Chain).
Experience with T-SQL, SSRS, and Microsoft development tools including Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
Exposure to Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) and D365 APIs (ODATA/REST) is a plus.
Experience collaborating with users to define business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) and cloud-hosted environments.
Background in C#/.NET development is a bonus.
Experience supporting distributed or remote teams.
Work Environment & Travel:
Office-based role with minimal travel requirements (<10%).
No special physical demands or PPE requirements.
