Job Details

Piper Companies is looking for a SQL Developer to join a third party logistics organization based in Atlanta, GA. The SQL Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the core applications that are hosted within MS SQL Server.

Responsibilities of the SQL Developer include :

  • Design, develop, and test MS SQL Server based database applications.
  • Support data flows to data warehouses and data marts for use in business intelligence.
  • Work with team members to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely fashion.
  • Analyze problems and communicate with end users to assess needs and determine optimal solutions.
  • Performance tune systems and queries.


Qualifications for the SQL Developer include:

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in MS SQL Server Database Design
  • A solid understanding of and experience with
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2019 - Current
  • TSQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions
  • Data modeling and database design
  • Strong ability translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field


Compensation for the SQL Developer include:

  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
