Engineering Multi-Skill Manager (Additive Manufacturing)

ET&T is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Multi-Skill Manager (Additive Manufacturing) for it's Center of Advanced Additive Manufacturing Design Analysis and Test (CAAMDAT) located in Auburn, Washington. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis engineering with demonstrated project management and leadership skills. This entails managing a multi-skilled team focused on execution/delivery of additively manufactured hardware.

- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis
- Product delivery and program execution of developmental and flight production additive manufactured hardware
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develop employees' skills through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
- Experience in Design, analysis, test and qualification of aerospace mechanical systems including mechanisms, structures, and thermal control products
- Experience collaborating across multi-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 5 years minimum applied engineering experience
- Knowledge of Boeing approved CAD system
- Damage tolerance analysis knowledge and use of NASGRO, AFGROW, or Lifeworks
- Experience and knowledge of specification creation in conformance with MIL-STD-961
- Knowledge of DoD systems engineering process including requirements verification and validation process
- Knowledge of high and low frequency dynamics analysis using MSC/NASTRAN
- Design and execution of vibration and static testing programs
- Design and analysis for additive manufacturing methods
- Qualification of additive manufacturing processes experience
- Knowledge of additive manufacturing requirements for defense aircraft and spacecraft
- Qualification requirements for civil aircraft in conformance with DO-160
- Demonstrated mentorship skills
