Job Title: AbiInitio Developer

Job Description:
- The AbiInitio Developer is responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining ETL processes and data ingestion frameworks within data warehousing environments.
- This role requires expertise in database management, ETL tools, and scheduling, along with strong analytical skills and domain knowledge in finance and capital markets.
- Develop, support, and maintain complex ETL frameworks for multiple data ingestion patterns.
- Perform daily data ingestion processes from multiple source systems to target systems.
- Develop and manage tasks within scheduling tools like Control-M, Maestro, or Autosys.
- Use ticketing tools such as Jira and ServiceNow to manage tasks and track issues.
- Provide production support and resolve data-related issues.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure effective communication and task completion.
- Work in an Agile project development environment.
- Manage team tasks, build teamwork, and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools such as Ab Initio and Spark/Python.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, DB2, and Teradata.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and database concepts.
- Familiarity with Unix utilities (more, sed, awk, etc.).
- Experience with Jenkins for automation and deployment.
- Knowledge of finance and capital markets products.
- Experience with multiple source and target systems in data ingestion processes.
- Prior production support and issue resolution experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills for client and team interaction.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
