PeopleSoft Data Conversion Developer (Payroll)

Our healthcare client is migrating from PeopleSoft to Workday and is seeking an experienced Data Conversion Developer with deep PeopleSoft Payroll expertise to join their team. This consultant will play a critical role in converting payroll data, supporting payroll parallel testing, and ensuring data accuracy throughout the transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development and execution of payroll data conversions from PeopleSoft to Workday.
• Utilize PeopleSoft technical tools and SQL to extract, transform, and validate payroll data.
• Partner with functional payroll teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with Workday requirements.
• Support payroll parallel testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution through February 2026.
• Document conversion processes, mapping, and reconciliation steps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HRIS, Payroll, and Workday implementation partners.

Required Experience:

• Strong background as a PeopleSoft Payroll Developer.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft technical tools (e.g., Application Engine, SQR, PeopleCode, PS Query).
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience supporting payroll operations or payroll testing.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced implementation environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience converting PeopleSoft Payroll data to Workday Payroll.
• Experience supporting Workday deployments or payroll parallel cycles.

Contract Duration:

• Immediate start through February 2026 to support payroll parallel and final cutover activities.
