Job Details

Piper Health and Sciences is actively seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist - Supplier Quality to work for a large global biotechnology company.

Responsibilities for Quality Assurance Specialist - Supplier Quality:

Oversee the approved supplier list (ASL) including internal and external audits, sending quality agreements, evaluation, and remediation

Responsible for writing, reviewing and revising SOPs, CAPAs, deviations, and change controls

End-to-end supplier quality including supplier and vendor selection, auditing, ordering raw materials, label review, overseeing change processes, follow up activities, remediation

Oversee creation and implementation of process improvement plans including Lean Six Sigma projects

Technical Requirements for Quality Assurance Specialist - Supplier Quality:

Bachelor's degree in biology, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology GMP regulated environment.

At least 1 year of experience with supplier quality and external auditing

Excellent organizational skills and proven experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits for Quality Assurance Specialist - Supplier Quality:

Compensation: $80,000 - 90,000 equivalent hourly rate, contract role
