ROLE OVERVIEW

AGG is adding a strategic AI consultant with deep experience in both AI/ML solution design and healthcare data privacy to help shape and implement our enterprise-wide AI roadmap to the team. You will partner closely with Data Science, IT, and executive leadership to ensure the responsible exploration and deployment of AI across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop an AI Roadmap: Collaborate with the Data Science & Engineering group to define a practical, secure, and phased AI strategy aligned with healthcare mission and business priorities.
  • Evaluate AI Use Cases: Assess AI tools and use cases submitted by internal teams. Work with management to identify high-value, low-risk opportunities for AI across both client-facing products and internal operations.
  • Application Review & Vendor Analysis: Analyze third-party AI applications for effectiveness, data security, and alignment with PHI regulations and HIPAA compliance. Evaluate data storage, ownership, and contractual terms to advise on safe and viable vendor partnerships.
  • AI for Back Office Optimization: Recommend and prototype AI solutions for internal departments (e.g., Accounting, IT, Corporate Services) while minimizing PHI exposure. Ensure solutions comply with internal data governance and privacy standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Training: Educate and align cross-functional teams and executives on AI capabilities, risks, and adoption models. Provide training or documentation to ensure responsible use.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience - preferred 2-5+ years, in AI/ML strategy, particularly within healthcare or regulated industries
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and enterprise data governance
  • Familiarity with ChatGPT Enterprise Edition and other GenAI tools
  • Background in Data Science, Analytics, or AI product evaluation
  • Experience navigating legal and compliance reviews for AI/ML vendors
  • Strong communication skills, especially when working with cross-functional and non-technical stakeholders

PREFERRED

  • Experience integrating AI in financial, operational, or clinical healthcare applications
  • Prior consulting or advisory experience with enterprise clients
  • Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS) and secure AI deployments
