Data Engineer
The Opportunity:

As a Data Engineer, you're passionate about building robust data pipelines that transform raw intelligence from multiple sources into actionable insights at scale. You understand how modern data architectures can handle petabytes of intelligence data while maintaining real-time processing capabilities and strict security requirements. We need a Data Engineer like you to architect solutions that will revolutionize how massive volumes of multi-domain intelligence data flow seamlessly from collection to analysis.

On our team, you'll design and implement scalable data pipelines for our intelligence analysis platform, ensuring intelligence data from sensors, imagery, signals, and open sources can be ingested, processed, and made available for analysis in near real-time. You'll apply modern data engineering principles to build resilient ETL or ELT workflows that handle everything from streaming sensor telemetry to batch processing of massive imagery datasets. Using AWS services like Kinesis, EMR, and Glue alongside orchestration tools, you'll create data architectures that enable your team to deliver reliable, high-performance analytics pipelines that process classified intelligence data at an unprecedented scale.

In this role, you'll directly impact national security by building the critical data infrastructure that enables AI-powered intelligence analysis and autonomous decision-making systems. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in large-scale data architecture and real-time analytics while contributing to solutions that will accelerate intelligence processing and enhance our nation's ability to detect and resp ond to emerging threats.

Work with us as we strengthen operational excellence for intelligence and national security.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience building production data pipelines and ETL or ELT workflows using Python, SQL, and distributed computing frameworks
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code such as CloudFormation and Terraform, and CI / CD practices for data pipeline deployment
  • Knowledge of AWS data services such as S3, Kinesis, EMR, Glue, and Redshift, and stream processing technologies such as Kafka and Spark Streaming
  • Ability to design and implement data lake architectures with proper data governance, cataloging, and security controls
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a CS or Data Engineering field

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with real-time analytics platforms, time-series databases such as Timestream, and machine learning data preparation workflows
  • Experience with containerized data processing such as Docker and Kubernetes, and advanced orchestration frameworks
  • Knowledge of data quality frameworks, schema evolution management, and handling multi-modal data types such as imagery, signals, and text
  • Ability to implement secure data pipelines for classified environments with proper data lineage tracking and audit capabilities
  • Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in Data Engineering, CS, or a related field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
