Job Description

Required Skills:
3+ years of experience in a project or program management role, experience in a technical environment, specifically with data, analytics, or engineering teams
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet) and experience with dashboards for reporting on project status and key metrics
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Proven ability to drive programs from inception to completion
Strong communication skills with a proven ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences
Bonus Points:
Experience working with data science or analytics teams
Familiarity with program governance models and operational cadences
Duties:
As the Program Manager, you will be the single point of contact for all data science initiatives and the program, with core duties including:
Structure: Organize and provide a clear structure for all in-flight work. This includes maintaining a comprehensive list of in-flight projects, capturing new projects, and documenting essential updates
Operational Excellence: Own and run the operational mechanisms (OpMechs) to ensure alignment with other program cadences. This includes managing recurring syncs, facilitating team retrospectives, and fostering cross-functional collaboration
Communication & Reporting: Serve as the central hub for the program and all initiative-related communication. This involves consolidating status updates to create a weekly summary for executive updates, and working closely with leadership on key communications
Intake & Governance: Act as the intake point for all new data initiative requests. You will be responsible for routing requests to the proper teams for review, sharing them to identify potential overlap across in-flight work, and assisting in the final approval process
Risk & Resource Management: Utilize RAID log to proactively identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
