Business Intelligence Analyst

Out client in the retail jewelery industry is seeking a fully remote BI analyst to support the accounting and finance teams. This opportunity would provide the chance to impace a fast-growing retail brand with over 100 locations across the US and a growing e-commerce platform.

Background Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or similar


• A degree or certificate in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analysis, or similar is preferred


• Experience in eliciting requirements and objectives from stakeholders and providing recommendations through to development and delivery of solution


• Experience working with complex, multi-source data structures


• Strong experience in creating and adjusting SQL queries


• Strong experience in creating and adjusting dashboards (Tableau, Entrinsik Informer, etc)

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience working in BI role with accounting and finance reporting and stakeholder


• Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and presentation skills - both within a team and independently


• Ability to self learn data structures, project specifics, and solution methods - whatever they may be


• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills


• Strong in SQL, data delivery (ETLs/Entrinsik Informer), data visualization (Tableau)

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborating with team members across multiple departments for the purpose of understanding or defining objectives


• Operate as a project manager and as an Independent Contributor


• Ability to build and execute ETLs (queries) from data sources


• Analyzing data and restructure as needed to deliver actionable insights via reports or dashboards


• Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance


• Perform data discovery, analysis and modeling
