Job Details

You are analytical, data-driven, and technical. You have strong communication skills and are able to seamlessly interact with Finance, Technology and Operations professionals to develop modifications to the reporting infrastructure that fully meets business partner needs.

As a Data Domain Architect Associate on the Chase Consumer and Business Banking (CCB) Finance Data & Insights Team, you will assist in the development, management, and maintenance of the Consumer Analytic Reporting Infrastructure (CARI) for the Chase Consumer and Business Banking lines of business as well as supporting the new JPM Private Client model which is an evolving strategy for servicing our affluent clients. You will focus on ensuring data quality and investigating authoritative data sources as well as preparing ad hoc analysis for our CFO stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the business stakeholders/analysts to understand reporting requirements and functional needs.
  • Translate business requirements into prototype solutions for new/enhancement requests, with appropriate standards.
  • Provide a high level of responsiveness to ad-hoc requests. Ability to understand broad business questions and determine the data that will help answer/give insights to the business question, perform "what-if" scenario data analytics, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Work closely with end-users/IT during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase of the project and perform testing to ensure new functionality meets end user requirements.
  • Work with our technology group to migrate to production the developed solutions.
  • Validate that production results comply with business requirements and expected results.
  • Work with the relevant Business Intelligence teams to develop and implement standard reporting solutions in support of JPM Chase Private Client Office and JPM branded branches.
  • Reconcile and perform data analysis between the Firm's financial systems (e.g., general ledger) and CARI as well as CARI to other data warehouses leveraging Essbase, SQL and future AWS Cloud tools.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • 5+ years of total experience within MIS, Business Intelligence, and/or Analytics roles
  • Must be proficient in SQL query writing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data warehousing concepts and exposure to one or more Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms: AWS or DataBricks, Oracle/SQL Server/Teradata, Cognos/BO, or SAS/R.
  • Must be proficient with analysis in Excel including but not limited to Pivot, Vlookup, trend analysis etc.
  • Must be proficient in one or more data & business intelligence concepts including ETL, Data Modeling, Reporting Automation, and/or Dashboard development.
  • Self-starter, team player, good communication skills, be proactive in asking for help when needed
  • Ability to take cues/guidance and solve problems independently
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to understand and communicate bigger picture

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Big Data/Tableau experience
  • Experience with Agile development framework
  • AWS Cloud experience

This role does not have a relocation allowance tied to it, so all candidates must be local to Wilmington, DE or willing to relocate on their own immediately upon hiring. Candidates must be able to physically work in our Wilmington, DE office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined by direct management.
