Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Sarasota, Florida. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and a proven ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Gather, organize, and interpret data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Power BI.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness.
Conduct A/B testing and other research methods to evaluate the impact of proposed changes.
Manage projects and tasks in an Agile Scrum environment, adhering to timelines and deliverables.
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively through presentations and written documentation.
Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to prepare detailed analyses and high-quality reports.
Apply sound judgment and independent decision-making to solve complex problems.
Stay informed about trends and best practices in data collection, research, and business analysis.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with data analysis, data gathering, and creating dashboards.
Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and project management principles.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Experience in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and other technical documentation.
Ability to conduct A/B testing and implement research methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and solve complex problems.
