The 3rd Party Contracts Payment SME will provide business and technology-informed guidance for digital payment contracts related to UBOS. The role supports execution, negotiation, and management of third-party payment services agreements while minimizing dependency on technical delivery teams.
Responsibilities
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for digital payments and third-party contracts
Support execution of multiple agreements with Payment Services Providers (PSPs)
Coordinate contract execution across vendors, legal counsel, procurement, and internal stakeholders
Act as primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries
Review, analyze, and validate contract language related to:
Payment processing
Settlement and refunds
Network tokenization
Security and fraud prevention
Operational responsibilities
Ensure contract terms align with operational, settlement, and system integration requirements
Track procurement, negotiation, execution status, risks, dependencies, and timelines
Prepare and deliver regular contract status reports
Respond independently to business, operational, and technology-related questions
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance, and policies
Develop strong working relationships with legal, procurement, vendors, and project sponsors
Fully document all work including designs, diagrams, test plans, impact analysis, and best practices
Participate in enterprise system project activities
Work independently to complete assigned tasks
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in digital payments, contract management, or related fields
Strong understanding of:
Payment services
Vendor management
Contract negotiation
Ability to manage multiple vendor agreements simultaneously
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with compliance requirements for payment services and third-party contracts
Preferred Skills
Experience working with Payment Services Providers (PSPs)
Knowledge of digital payment technologies and industry standards
Strong organizational and project management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Microsoft ADO Testing Module
Experience with SAP enterprise projects
Knowledge of ITIL / ITSM practices
Education / Certifications
Bachelor s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or related field
Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
