Job Details
Open for both Long-term Contract / FTE
Must have 15+ years of total exp and strong exposure as an Architect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect end-to-end BI solutions using Power BI and other Microsoft tools.
- Develop and maintain data models (Star/Snowflake schema) using Power BI Desktop.
- Build intuitive and interactive dashboards, reports, and visuals that provide real-time insights.
- Connect Power BI to various data sources (SQL, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
- Optimize Power BI datasets and performance tuning of large datasets.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage user access permissions.
- Guide data integration efforts using Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data governance, data quality, and consistency across BI solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior BI developers or analysts, when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including Power BI Service.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and SQL.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure SQL).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with DevOps/CI-CD for BI solutions is a plus.
