RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Major Incident Management Consultant to join our dynamic team in Shelton, CT or Miami, FL. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle critical outages and triage incidents, often requiring off-hours and on-call support. This position is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in incident management and major calls, who have been in a similar role for a few years.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and resolve major incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations
* Perform triage and root cause analysis for critical outages
* Provide timely and clear communication to stakeholders during incidents
* Collaborate with team members to drive efficiencies and improve incident management processes

Team Dynamics:
* Spend approximately one-third of work hours on job duties; The remaining time is dedicated to driving efficiencies
* Irregular hours, often coming in late, leaving early, but remaining engaged during nighttime incidents

REQUIREMENTS:
* ITIL certification or equivalent knowledge
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
* Strong written communication skills with the ability to send clear, structured messages
* Technical background with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and systems
* Strong command of language and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
* Hands-on experience handling incidents

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
