Job Title: Power Platform Developer

Job Location: Austin, Texas-Onsite

Experience Level

  • 4-7 years of experience in systems analysis, application development, or a related field
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within systems analysis and application development
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Job Summary

  • Understands business objectives and identifies technology-based solutions
  • Analyzes business problems and evaluates alternative solutions
  • Performs studies and cost/benefit analyses to support decision-making
  • Translates business needs into functional and technical requirements
  • Supports development, implementation, and expansion of enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform



Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements, workflows, and operational procedures
  • Identify system gaps and recommend automation or system improvements
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements
  • Document detailed user needs, functional specifications, and system workflows
  • Review system capabilities, constraints, and limitations to assess feasibility of requested changes
  • Support design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications
  • Participate in application enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices adoption



Technical Responsibilities (Microsoft Power Platform)

  • Develop and support solutions using Microsoft Power Platform components, including:
    • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven Apps)
    • Power Automate (Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, Business Process Flows)
    • Dataverse (tables, relationships, security, and usage)
    • Power Pages / Portals
  • Design and integrate backend data sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint, and other databases
  • Support governance and administration through Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE)
  • Assist with custom application development and enhancements



Minimum Qualifications (Required)

  • 5+ years of experience with SaaS and/or PaaS environments
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform development
  • 4+ years of experience with Power Apps and Power Automate technical solutions
  • 4+ years of experience designing and developing Canvas and Model-driven Apps
  • 4+ years of experience using Dataverse for data storage and management
  • 4+ years of experience developing Power Automate Flows (Cloud, Desktop, and Business Process Flows)
  • 4+ years of experience with Power Pages / Portals
  • 4+ years of experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE)



Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and sprint planning
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with Power Platform mobile apps, Power Virtual Agents, and portals
