Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer/Designer will work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment responsible for designing building systems and producing construction documentation for institutional projects for a variety of markets.
In this role, you won't just design electrical systems for commercial buildings - you'll play a key role in bringing ambitious ideas to life as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team. We are looking for a highly motivated Electrical Engineer/Designer to be part of our firm and grow with us.

General Duties:
- Design and program electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom and security.
- Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
- Develop electrical system design calculations.
- Perform QA/QC design work.
- Review shop drawing submittals submitted by Contractors to confirm compliance with contract documents. (As needed).
- Coordinate with Owners and Architects.
- Complete code compliance research.
- Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers.
Skills:
- Proficient in Revit and MS Office.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and IECC
- Effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Ability to solve problems in an effective and timely manner
- Self-directed creativity and innovation
- High attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is desired from an ABET-accredited program
- 3 to 7+ years of Electrical Engineering experience specializing in design, maintenance, and/or operation of AC power systems, fire alarm systems, and communications systems
- PE License or EIT, a plus
