Manager, Product Marketing

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

• P&L responsibility across multiple product lines; i.e., revenue, product cost, quality, and install
• Analyze core and adjacent markets, developing strategies for growth and driving go-to-market strategy
• Defining each market by the channel and distribution
• Able to lay out the pricing landscape by market and create cost recommendations
• Participate in the Phase Gate process to ensure organization alignment
• Analyze products through the Product Life Cycle process and make strategy recommendations for each phase
• Define messaging for New Product Introductions that resonate with consumers that can be passed to Marketing Communication

Required Skills:

• Able to define market segments by price point, channels, distribution, share, and decision factors
• Analyze P&L and identify factors that influence growth and profitability
• Familiar with a Phase Gate process
• Able to work cross-department between Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales
• Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify trends in financial data and develop creative solutions to address negative trends

Required Education/Experience:

• 8+ years of marketing experience in a B2C model
• Bachelor's degree in relative field
• Successful track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Change is constant at Vivint.
• Experience in developing departments/processes

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
