Position : Senior Technical Consultant (Java)

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)

Must: Java Back end development with Spring boot and API and Banking domain Must

NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a Senior Technical Consultant to join our team in Jersey City, NJ [Hybrid - 3 days onsite/week is must] ..

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree, ideally Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Personal attributes
5+ years of experience with development background on the Java platform, Java 8+, SpringBoot, API Development required
Strong Exp. in Banking Industry is must.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Bank s integration feeds and managed file transfer processes. This will require the individual to provide support during the business day. It will also involve regular participation on the out of hours support rotation.
Support and develop Transaction Banking systems developed on Java, and Spring
Develop and maintain in-house built applications on Java.
Migration of feeds and managed file transfer configurations between the Bank s systems as well as enhancements to existing deployments.
Identify & communicate issues / risks to manager.
Adhere to Bank s standards and best practices for Integration
Compliance with Standard Bank processes and procedures including change control, configuration management and logical access control.
Working closely with Transaction Banking & Business to ensure requirements and priorities are clearly understood.
Translation of business requirements into IT focused development definitions.
Ensuring project issues and conflicts are identified, raised and resolved.
Migration Planning, scheduling meeting with stakeholders, Estimating delivering timelines
Strong development background on the Java platform, Java 8+, Spring Boot, API Development required
Experience with development on IntelliJ/Eclipse with Runtime Debugging
Experience of working with version control systems e.g. Subversion, GIT and build tools like Maven
Experience of relational database development using SQL and JDBC
Good understanding of the system development life cycle
