We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Platform Engineering Enablement function, driving developer productivity, and modernizing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This is a player-coach role-balancing strategic leadership with hands-on technical contributions. You will partner across the enterprise to deliver self-service platforms, automation, and education that empower developers, improve SDLC maturity, and enable continuous delivery.
You will champion engineering excellence, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives while consistently delivering measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire & Elevate: Build and sustain high-performing engineering teams through hiring, coaching, and upskilling talent. Set clear expectations and raise the bar for quality and delivery.
- Instill an Engineering Mindset: Promote data-driven decision-making, root cause analysis, scalable design, and continuous improvement. Coach teams to think critically, prioritize maintainability, and share knowledge across the organization.
- Drive SDLC Transformation: Define and execute a roadmap for SDLC maturity, aligning enterprise OKRs with team goals to achieve business outcomes.
- Enable Developer Productivity: Design and deliver self-service platforms and automation capabilities (e.g., golden paths, templates, policy-as-code, service catalogs).
- Champion DevSecOps Practices: Evangelize best practices across the developer community; coach teams to adopt secure, efficient, and modern engineering workflows.
- Stay Ahead of Innovation: Monitor emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, developer productivity tools) and integrate them into platform strategies.
- Ensure Compliance & Security: Maintain safety and soundness of solutions, adhering to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage Budgets & Resources: Oversee departmental budgets and ensure financial discipline.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering with hands-on technical execution.
- 3+ years in engineering leadership roles, with proven success mentoring teams while remaining technically engaged.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD principles, automation strategies, and modern SDLC best practices.
- Practical experience implementing these practices using developer platforms and tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes) within cloud-native architectures
- Expertise with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform) and policy-as-code frameworks (e.g., OPA), with a focus on creating reusable templates and enforcing security and governance standards through automation.
- Experience designing Internal Developer Platforms to streamline workflows.
- Familiarity with AI-driven developer productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Agents, MCP servers).
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformations with incremental value delivery.
- Strong execution mindset, able to navigate ambiguity and deliver results.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical details to both technical and non-technical business stakeholders.
