Job Details

DPP is seeking a Network Analyst for an opportunity in Columbia, SC. Candidates must be eligible to earn a low-level US security clearance (Public Trust).

Work arrangement:
  • Partial onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and as needed.
  • W2 position; 12 months
  • Must be eligible to earn a Public Trust security clearance, which requires a thorough background search and ship.
Position summary:
  • This Network Analyst will be responsible for implementing security remediations, managing network migrations, and providing network support for new business applications.
  • Daily tasks include defining network structures, leveraging automation, utilizing Cisco ACI for next-generation networking, and supporting disaster recovery efforts.
  • Soft skills required include attention to detail, ability to effectively communicate with peers and partner IT teams, ability to pivot to multiple tasks, strong troubleshooting skills.

The team:
  • The Network Change Team is responsible for making the changes required to facilitate all connectivity for the entire Organization.
  • This team plays a crucial role in ensuring the security, efficiency, and reliability of the organization's network infrastructure.
  • This is a collaborative team that is focused on providing support to their customers to ensure the business applications they support are available and operational.
  • Standard Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM are the standard work hours; additional hours will be required as business dictates. Overtime, On Call, Weekends and Off Hour work will be required
Minimum required work experience:
  • 6 years of network or other job-related experience.
  • Preferred work experience: 8 years of experience working in infrastructure/network environments performing analysis (hardware and/or software), planning, and implementation.
Required education/equivalencies:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
  • OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
  • OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 10 years without a degree)
  • Preferred: Bachelor s degree.
