C# Software Project Manager

Job Description:

Seeking a C# Project Manager for 12+ month contract Rochester, NY. This position is onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Understand client and internal stakeholder needs and priorities and make sure those needs are translated into SMART requirements, prioritized into the appropriate releases, and delivered to meet agreed to client expectations
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress to be shared with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure baselines and subsequent changes to the project risks, issues, scope, performance parameters, schedule and costs are clearly documented
• Establish and manage relationships with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders
• Implement project review processes to ensure they are continually meeting project requirements on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and other key metrics
• Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects
• Use and continually develop leadership skills
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs and perform other related duties as assigned

Skills:

• 5-7 years of experience working in the software project management discipline
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile software development projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite of tools (Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Direct hands-on experience with at least one agile project management tool such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Project Management of software development projects with software developers (Mainly C#).
• BS/BA in technical or business discipline
