Description
We are seeking a meticulous, analytical, and highly collaborative Portfolio Analyst (PA) to support the growing needs of the Enterprise Architecture, Data, and AI focus areas. In this role, the PA will enable strategic execution through portfolio tracking, financial oversight, work intake facilitation, and standardized reporting. The PA will also support agile and waterfall methodologies and help experienced processes, tooling, and metrics that drive continuous planning, prioritization, and enterprise transparency. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the Portfolio Director and involves regular engagement with business and technology leaders, enterprise stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Track, monitor, and report on portfolio health, risk, capacity, and project milestones. Create, consolidate, and communicate team accomplishments, KPIs, and OKRs across architecture, data, and AI. Maintain visibility into headcount, open roles, and organizational structure changes. Administer work requests, dependency tracking, and roadmap alignment. Assist with Creating and Supporting a new intake process, governance reviews, and business case development. Creating and documenting new processes needed to support portfolio maturity. Build and maintain reporting dashboards using Power BI and Excel to track budgets, forecasts, and delivery health. Ensure data hygiene, integrity, and compliance across Azure DevOps (ADO), and other portfolio management tools. Automate reporting for real-time insights and visual storytelling. Support budget planning cycles, business case refinement, and financial variance tracking. Assist in maturing capacity management and resource planning capabilities. Identify portfolio trends and provide actionable recommendations. Assist in and drive standardization and rollout of ADO best practices across portfolio teams. Work closely with IT, finance, and other divisions to ensure alignment with enterprise governance. Function as a key liaison between the Portfolio Director and delivery teams to facilitate progress and remove blockers. 5+ years in a Portfolio Analyst, preferably in enterprise IT, architecture, data-driven, or transformation environments Proficiency in project lifecycle management, intake/governance, and cross-functional coordination, prioritization frameworks Advanced proficiency with Azure DevOps, Power BI, and Excel; admin-level familiarity is a plus. Budget planning, financial tracking, forecasting, and business case support Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize and visualize complex data to support strategic decisions and deliver portfolio metrics, OKRs, KPIs, and executive readouts. Experience supporting or leading small to mid-size initiatives in both agile and waterfall delivery models. Strong written and verbal communication with experience preparing briefings for cross-functional stakeholders; Clear and compelling communicator, adept at presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders
