Job Details
Role: Systems Software Programmer / SharePoint Developer
Work Location: Columbia, SC- Hybrid (20% on-site, 80% remote)
Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate from (GA or NC) to Columbia, SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.
Duration: 6 months contract
Experience: 10+ years
Candidate must show the DL copy on video at the time of submission
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master s Degree in computer science, information systems/technology management or related discipline with degree/certificate or equivalent work experience.
- At least 10 years SharePoint development experience including but not limited to: proficiency in SharePoint online and Office 365. Knowledge of SharePoint customization: skilled in customizing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts to meet specific business requirements.
- Experience in designing and developing intranets: experience in designing and developing intranets using SharePoint 365, including creating custom layouts, features, and functionalities.
- 4+ years of experience of Power suite expertise: proficiency in utilizing office 365 power suite (power automate, PowerBI) and add-ons.
- 4+ years of expertise in programming languages such as C#.Net, JavaScript, html, CSS, PowerShell, and JQuery or similar frameworks.
- Security and compliance knowledge: familiar with security best practices and compliance standards related to SharePoint online.
- User interface (ui) and user experience (ux) knowledge and skills
- Experience troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and finding solutions to ensure the current/future development functions smoothly and meets the agency s needs.
Preferred Skills
- Microsoft copilot integrations
- M365 adoption strategy and roadmap development
- Gamification knowledge: understanding of gamification principles and the ability to incorporate gamified elements into the intranet to engage users, drive adoption, and promote collaboration.
- Certifications such as Microsoft certified: SharePoint online, Microsoft 365 certified: developer associate, or similar certifications
